The Emasculated Jesus

Sixty-one percent of the adult crowd on Sunday mornings is comprised of females whereas only thirty-nine percent are male. Why is it that women are attracted to church more than men? Is it simply because woman love God more than men? I doubt it.

Paul Coughlin, author of No More Christian Nice Guy, observes a lot of churches in American Evangelicalism are sadly presenting Jesus not as the man Jesus, but as "the bearded woman."

We men kid about “chick-flicks” with our female counterparts. But I ask has church become a “chick-church” to some degree?
