Recent Poll Doesn’t Bode Well for Rudy

As reported by Citizenlink.org, a recent Fox News poll revealed “pro-life voters are more concerned with a candidate's position on abortion than pro-abortion voters. Fifty-six percent of pro-life voters said they want to know where a candidate stands on abortion, while only 41 percent of pro-abortion voters said they need to know.” In recent decades, the vast majority of those who consider themselves pro-life have voted Republican in the general election for president. That’s because the Republican nominee has always been pro-life whereas the Democrat nominee has not. What this poll indicates then is if the choice for the Republican nominee was between Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani, a pro-life candidate like Mitt would be better able to unite the party against the Dems in the general election than a pro-abortion candidate like Rudy.
